Spa Retreat Overlooking the Northern Sea

One of our favorite activities in Reykjavik is plunging into the soothing waters of a spring-fed spa. Whether warm or cold, the ritual baths and steam rooms are a treat to the body and soul. In these sacred spaces, we find peace, worries dissolve, and all troubles cease.


Benefits of Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is the act of exposing all or part of the body to very cold temperatures. There are both physical benefits, such as reduced inflammation and improved immune response, as well as mental benefits, such as a release of endorphins to increase mood and alleviate tension. Cryotherapy has been noted to "shock the system," wake up the brain, and promote an overall sense of wellness.
